Toshiba launches in the US its Portege R600 ultraportable notebook PC. The R600 series is an ultra portable laptop with a 12.1-inch LED backlit widescreend display. R600 is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9400 1.4GHz CPU, 3GB of memory and offers DVD Multi burner, WiFi and Bluetooth.

There are two models in the US, the R600-S4201 with 160GB hard drive and the R600-S4202 with 128GB SSD drive. The former costs $2099 while the latter is priced at $2,999.00.

Toshiba introduces two new Satellite Pro S300 and S300M laptop PCs. Both based on Core 2 Duo processor, the S300 has a 15.4-inch display while the S300M has a 14.1-inch screen. They have Toshiba’s fourth-generation EasyGuard Technology with PC Health Monitor. Both models come with two years of warranty.

Toshiba releases the new Portege M750 tablet PC in Canada. The Portege M750 (series: M750-AM1) comes in Titanium Silver color. It is a Centrino 2 based tablet with a 12.1-inch touchscreen. M750 has Toshiba’s EasyGuard features for protection. It is an all-in-one tablet with ultra slim DVD burner.
