Lenovo launches its new S10-2 netbook PC that is an upgrade to the original S10. Powered by Atom N270 1.6GHz procesor and 1GB RAM, the S10-2 has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LCD display. The netbook is available from Lenovo for $439.

Lenovo updates its IdeadPad S10 10-inch netbook by adding the VeriFace Facial recognition technology and the multi-touch functionality on the touchpad. The updated IdeaPad S10 is based on the old version and is powered by the same Atom platform.

Lenovo adds also the LenovoSocial offering easy access to social networking. To be launched in March, the new IdeadPad S10 will cost $349.
