Packard Bell, Acer’s arm in Europe, launches the dot m/u netbook boosted by Intel’s CULV processor. The dot m/u is in fact the Europe version of the Timeline 1810T/Aspire 1410. It is available in “NightSky Black” (dot m/u.UK/011)and “Cherry Red” (dot mr/u UK/004). Windows 7 is pre-installed.

ViewSonic is going to launch its ViewBook Rro VNB131 laptop powered by Intel’s CULV processor and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The ultra portable notebook has a 13.3-inch display. It has 2GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 7-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and a built-in DVD SuperMulti burner. The ViewBook Pro supports Bluetooth and WiFi.

Launch date and pricing have not been announced.

Other than the new ENVY line and the ProBook 5310m, HP offers also the Pavilion dm3 13.3-inch notebook PC that can be equipped with either AMD or Intel processors. Currently two models are available, the DM3-1030US boosted by AMD Athlon Neo X2 1.6GHz processor and the DM3-1040US powered by Intel’s 1.3GHz Pentium SU4100 ULV processor. Buy from Amazon.

Acer’s European arm Packard Bell launches the new EasyNote Butterfly m 15.6-inch latpop PC. The stylish notebook PC has a thin and light design at just 1-inch thin. With a 6-cell battery, the Butterfly m can run for up to 8 hours. The Windows 7 device is based on Intel CULV processor.
