Samsung launches its X460 ultra slim notebook PC in the US. The X460 is based on Centrino 2 technology and a 256MB nVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS graphic card. There is a 14.1-inch SuperBright LCD display with 300 nits brightness.

Samsung offers also the Q310 series notebook PC in the US market. Samsung has two models for US notebook shoppers, the Q310-34G and Q310-34P. They both have a 13.3-inch Wide SuperBright WXGA with 250nits brightness, and integrated Intel GMX4500  video chipset.

Samsung enters the US notebook market with several new models. The R610 seriesis one of them. The Samsung R610-64G has a 16-inch LED widescreend display and comes with Samsung’s Touch of Color Design. Currently, the R610-64G is available for US consumers:

Samsung X460 Slim Laptop

Following the X360 lighter than the air laptop, Samsung announced the ultra lightweigh X460 slim laptop PC. This X460 comes with a larger 14.1-inch LCD display offering 1280×800 resolution.

Samsung X460 comes equipped with an Intel Centrino 2 processor, up to 4GB of memory and nVIDIA GeForce Go 9200M GS graphics card. X460 has up to 320GB HDD and an integrated DVD SuperMulti burner.

You can also expect WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. There isalso a 7-in-1 card reader. The X460 comes in a Protect-o-Edge magnesium alloy casing offering remarkable strength and superior reliability.

Samsung shows the world its X360 ultraportable laptop X360, which is lighter than the Air, the MacBook Air, at the IFA 2008. Samsung X360 is only 0.66-inch thick and is 3oz lighter than the MacBook Air.

The X360 is equipped with an Core 2 Duo ULV CPU and 4GB of RAM. You can get wither 64GB/128GB SSD or 120GB hard drive for storage. It features also a 13.3-inch LED backlit screen, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 7-in-1 card reader. X360 comes with an HDMI port.

Samsung will launch the X360 in October with Windows Vista in Europe for Euro 1500-2000. Samsung will also release new models with WiMax and HSDPA later this year.
