Packard Bell, Acer’s arm in Europe, launches the dot m/u netbook boosted by Intel’s CULV processor. The dot m/u is in fact the Europe version of the Timeline 1810T/Aspire 1410. It is available in “NightSky Black” (dot m/u.UK/011)and “Cherry Red” (dot mr/u UK/004). Windows 7 is pre-installed.

Packard Bell, part of Acer Group, launches in Europe the new EasyNote DT85, a desktop replacement laptop with a 18.4-inch Full HD LCD display. Powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, the DT85 is equipped with either a NVIDIA GeForce GT240 with 1GB RAM or GeForece G210M with 512MB RAM graphics card. The laptop (Model: TR85-DT-013UK) is now available on Amazon UK for 749.99 Pounds.

Acer’s European arm Packard Bell launches the new EasyNote Butterfly m 15.6-inch latpop PC. The stylish notebook PC has a thin and light design at just 1-inch thin. With a 6-cell battery, the Butterfly m can run for up to 8 hours. The Windows 7 device is based on Intel CULV processor.

Packard Bell, an Acer company, joins Acer’s Aspire One in the crowded netbook PC market by introducing its ‘dot’ netbook PC. Like most netbooks, the Packard Bell dot features an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD. The dot comes with a 8.9-inch 1024×500 LCD screen.

You can also get a built-in webcam, optional 3G mobile broadband module and a 6-cell battery. THere is also a 5-in-1 card reader, VGA out, and three USB 2.0 ports. It will cost Euro 399.
