Apricot Computers, from the UK, shows us its Picobook Pro that looks like a variant of the Cloudbook MAX. Instead of Atom, the Picobook Pro is powered by VIA’s processor. There are two versions, the Picobook Pro VL that runs Novell Network SUSE and the Picobook Pro VX with Windows XP Home. Check out the full specs after the cut. It costs £279.
Zepto offers the Nox A14 that has been claimed to be the fastest 14-inch notebook in the world. Based on Centrino 2 processor technology, the NoxA14 comes with optional Blu-ray/DVD combo optical drive and NVIDIA 9600M graphic card. It has 14.1-inch display.
Zepto Hydra A17 Gaming Laptop
Another new gaming laptop PC from Zepto, the Hydra A17. Hydra A17 can be equipped with either a Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme CPU. Traditional SATA hard drive or SSD can be chosen for storage. It packs up to 8GB of memory and the 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX graphic card for outstanding gaming performance.
It has a 17-inch display, WiFi, fingerprint scanner, 7-in-1 card reader, optional Bluetooth and optional 2 megapixel camera. A17 can get either a Blu-ray drive or a DVD writer. It comes with also integrated speakers and subwoofer.
Averatec offers the new Atom-based Buddy HS-103 netbook in the Korea market. Averatec Buddy HS-103 is equipped with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, up to 2GB of memory.
It comes with 80GB hard drive for storage. HS-103 has a 10.2-inch AveraBrite display offering 1024×600 resolution and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. The netbook offers also a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
Averatec Buddy HS-103 offers 5 hours of battery life.
Zepto offers the Mythos A10 laptop PC that has the NVIDIA 9600M GT video card with 512MB video RAM. The Mythos A15 features an Intel Core 2 Duo P9500, P8600, P8400 CPU, 4GB of DDR2 memory and 320GB hard drive. There are also DVD burner and a 15-inch LCD screen.
