Dell’s Japanese arm not only introduces the Vostro A90, but also the new Inspiron Mini 12 netbook PC. The Inspiron Mini 12 can be considered as a Inspiron Mini 9 with a larger 12.1-inch LCD display. It is available now in Japan and will launch gloablly by late November.

Dell Vostro A90 - Business version of Inspiron Mini 9
Dell introduces the business version of its Inspiron Mini 9 netbook in Japan. Named as Vostro A90, it basically shares the same features as the Mini 9. It packs an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB OF RAM, 8GB SSD, and support for WiFi and Bluetooth. A90 has a 8.9-inch LCD screen, webcam and runs Windows XP.

While the Eee PC is a bit expensive as a netbook, Asus will launch also the Eee PC 1002HA that comes with S101 styling, but at a lower price. The Eee PC 1002HA will have a two0cell 4200mAh battery offering up to 7 hours of battery life. It will be priced at about 449 Euro.

Apricot Picobook Pro

Apricot Computers, from the UK, shows us its Picobook Pro that looks like a variant of the Cloudbook MAX. Instead of Atom, the Picobook Pro is powered by VIA’s processor. There are two versions, the Picobook Pro VL that runs Novell Network SUSE and the Picobook Pro VX with Windows XP Home. Check out the full specs after the cut. It costs £279.
