Other than the G50V, Asus has another gaming laptop for gamers, the G71V. In addition to Core 2 Duo T9600/T9400/P8600/P8400/P7350, the G71V can also get the Quad Core QX9300 or Core 2 Extreme. It comes with also up to 4GB of memory, a 512MB nVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT video card, up to 1TB of hard drive and a DVD burner or Blu-ray DVD burner.

Asus G71V features also a 17-inch LCD display, a 2 Megapixel webcam, WiMax and WiFi wireless connectivity. You can also get the optional Bluetooth 2.1.
