Gateway announced the launch of its affordable gaming laptop PC, the P-7811FX. Gateway P-7811FX is equipped with Intel’s Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz P8400 CPU, 4GB of memory and nVIDIA’s GeForce 9800M GTS graphic card.

P-7811FX gets a 17-inch HD LCD screen offering 1920×1200 resolution, and a SuperMulti DVD burner. Connectivity wise, the P-7811FX offers WiFi 802.11draft-n, wireless, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.3 and eSATA ports. The laptop has also a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 5-in-1 card reader.

The price of the laptop starts at $1,399.99. It runs Windows Home Premium 64-bit Edition.

We have seen Dell’s E mini laptop previously. It looks like Dell is going to launch the netbook as the Inspiron 910. The Inspiron 910 get an Intel 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 512MB of memory, and flash memory of 4GB, 8GB or 16GB. The Dell E Inspiron 910  comes with WiFi supports and optional Bluetooth and 3G support. It runs Windows XP or Ubuntu.

Lenovo announced the ThinkPad X301 laptop PC. The new ThinkPad X301 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo ULV 1.2GHz or 1.4GHz CPU, up to 2GB of DDR3 memory and 64GB or 128GB SSD for storage. It comes with a 13.3-inch LCD display,WiFi and Bluetooth. Users may also want to get the optional WWAN, GPS, WiMax and UWB modules.

Available from  26th August, the X301 has a starting price of $2599.

HP is also going to release the EliteBook 2530p business laptop PC, which offers similar features as the 2730p. The 2530p basically is the non-tablet version of the 2730p.

Powered by the same Core 2 Duo ULV 1.2GHz or Core 2 Duo LV 1.8GHz CPU, the 2530p has up to 4GB of memory and up to 160GB hard drive, and GMS 4500 HD graphic card. Buyers can also get the 80GB SSD to replace the hard drive.

The EliteBook has an internal DVD+/-RW burner, a 12.1-inch LCD display, Bluetooth, WiFi and SD card slot.

HP has the new EliteBook 2730p business tablet PC. The 2730p gets either a Core 2 Duo ULV 1.2GHz or Core 2 Duo LV 1.83GHz processor. It comes with up to 4GB of memory and a 80GB or 120GB hard drive. Users may want get  80GB SSD instead of hard drive. It has the integrated GMA X4500 HD graphic card.

The EliteBook 2730p features  1280×800 12-inch touch display, and a SD card slot. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11draft-n wireless connectivity. There are also optional EVDO/HSPA mobile broadband module.
